The brief calls for multi concept restaurants and a specialty supermarket to be housed in a single space. The challenge was to allow each concept restaurant to have its own identity and yet needs to be seen as a single conceptual entity.

Planning wise, the specialty supermarket is defined as the main spine tying all the different concept restaurants together and the entrance of each restaurant is taken from the supermarket circulation.

A lattice screen is used as the main design element to define the main spine of the supermarket. The lattice turns up into the ceiling and forms simple frames which follows the main circulation of the supermarket. This lattice frames are interrupted by the entrances of the concept restaurants and announces their identity and presence by extending their signage and design elements into the spine.
